How to jailbreak iOS 10 / 10.1.1 with Yalu + Mach_Portal? Well, here’s very good news for the jailbreak community. The famous iOS developer and hacker Luca Todesco was able to generate the first iOS 10 / 10.1.1 jailbreak based on Ian Beer‘s Project Zero exploit.
In this post we gonna show you in details how to jailbreak your iPhone or iPad running iOS 10 using Yalu jailbreak, but before going through this tutorial, here are some important points to take in your consideration.
Jailbreak iOS 10 / 10.1.1 With Yalu – Important Notes:
- Yalu iOS 10/10.1.1 jailbreak still in beta, so it should be used be developers as it may be loaded with bugs, and you may lose your iOS 10.1.1
- Yalu iOS 10/10.1.1 jailbreak is semi-untethered, which means that you will have to put your iPhone / iPad in jailbreak mode after every reboot.

Yalu iOS 10 / 10.1.1Jailbreak – Prerequisite:
- Yalu jailbreak IPA file, Download.
- Cydia impactor, you can download it from here => www.cydiaimpactor.com
- Latest version of iTunes, you can download it from here.
- Your Apple ID, in case you don’t have one, you can easily create new one from here.
- Your computer.
How to jailbreak iOS 10 / 10.1.1 with Yalu + Mach_Portal:
Step 1: Connect your compatible iPhone or iPad with your PC via USB cable, then make sure to backup your device.
Step 2: Disable Passcode/Touch ID
Setting > Touch ID & Passcode > Turn Passcode Off
Step 3: Disable Find My iPhone
Settings > iCloud > Find My iPhone > Off
Step 4: Launch Cydia Impactor, which you downloaded earlier.
Step 5: Drag and drop the mach_portal+Yalu IPA downloaded earlier into the Cydia Impactor app.
Step 6: Enter your Apple ID and password. Your Apple ID will be only used to sign the IPA, letting it run on your iPhone / iPad.
Step 7: Now Cydia Impactor will install the new Yalu jailbreak app on your iPhone / iPad
Step 8: Once jailbreak app installed successfully on your iPhone / iPad, you must trust the developer profile created under your email address. To install Yalu jailbreak app, hit Trust and then Trust again on the certificate you used.
Settings > General > Device Management
Step 9: Go to your homescreen, then launch the “mach_portal” jailbreak app. After 10 to 15 seconds, Cydia app icon will show up. Done.
Luca Todesco has announced via his official Twitter account, that Yalu iOS 10 jailbreak should now work with iPhone 6S Plus, 6S and iPhone SE.
Since people seem to not know yet: a fix for TSMC has been posted for both SE and 6s. So support should now be complete for those devices.” He continued “I suggest using @sticktron’s 6s TSMC fix, no one else’s.
Keep in mind that iOS 10.1.1 / 10 jailbreak is still in beta, which means it is only for developers only. Finally the Italian hacker has confirmed that all current bugs in Yalu should be fixed in the next updated version.
